Jeremy – I have received your public records request of July 10th, 2012 for the internal investigations files for both Deputy Chief Troxel and Sergeant Frazier. The internal investigation for Deputy Chief Troxel and Sergeant Frazier that began on May 3rd, 2012 is not yet completed. Per RCW 42.56.240 (1), the agency is not required to release open investigations. Therefore, I am going to close your request of July 10th, 2012, and would encourage you to make the request again in the future.
